Nature has spent millions of years developing a great fatigue resistant material, wood. Top grade mahogany coupled with high tech building methods creates a superior hull that withstands the structural load it will expect during its life. We use stringer frame construction using multi diagonal and longitudinal layers of mahogany planking and cloth. The veneers are saturated in epoxy and vacuum bagged, eliminating voids and creating an amazingly strong monocoque structure. This method of construction produces a hull and deck that has a higher strength-to-weight ratio. Stress tests performed on this composite construction has proven to be two to three times more resilient than fiberglass or aluminum.
